Forbes confused by big numbers

Wired’s Adam Penenberg reports that Forbes claimed 3,558 ad pages in ’04 when it should have claimed 3,470. (They were counting regional inserts as full ad pages. Forbes calls it “a clerical error.”) And Fortune snitched on them.

Well, you know what they say: every time Forbes tells a lie, a Fabergé egg disappears from the lobby.
