Foodworthy Image-Based Food Rating App Launches on iOS

The app encourages users to photograph and review their meals at restaurants, before sharing their photos with the community.

Foodworthy has announced the launch of its photo-based food rating app on iOS devices. The app looks to compete with services like Yelp by encouraging users to take pictures of their food at restaurants and review these specific meals before sharing them with the community.

Once users sign up for a Foodworthy account, they’re presented with three main feeds of content for new posts, popular posts and posts from users they follow. Users can filter these feeds based on each business’ distance from the user, whether the location is currently open and the meal’s price range, as well as based on specific restaurant features, including valet parking or wheelchair accessibility, as examples.
