Flying Virgin Galactic? You'll Be Able To Tweet From Space

If you’ve got $200,000 burning a hole in your pocket, you could be among the first group to take a sub-orbital flight into space with Virgin Galactic. And that $200,000 will even get you complimentary in-flight Twitter access.

Virgin Galactic is entrepreneur Richard Branson’s space program, looking to offer space flight opportunities to members of the paying public. With a $20,000 deposit and a total cost of $200,000, though, it’s not for everyone.

There is no firm launch date for the first Virgin Galactic flight yet, but one new tidbit of information has been released: Branson is looking for a system that will provide internet connectivity in his SpaceShipTwo craft.
