First Look: National Journal Redesign, to Serve Chicken and Waffles on Capitol Hill

National Journal 6_21 coverTomorrow, National Journal is set to celebrate the redesign of its print magazine, and we’ve got what’s slated for the cover (to the left, to the left).

Earlier this month, we wrote of a 50% increase in the outlet’s readership as well as six new hires and included an internal memo that previewed a redesign for the print magazine.

“In three weeks, we’ll launch the new, totally re-imagined National Journal magazine, packed with a fantastic collection of long-form pieces from great National Journal bylines including Marin Cogan, Tim Alberta and Peter Beinart and new-to-us voices such as Simon van-Zuylen Wood and Michael Gerson,” wrote editor in chief Tim Grieve to staff.

And tomorrow morning from 8 – 10 am, be on the look out near the Capital South Metro for free Capital Chicken and Waffles and by the Union Station Metro for free Mama’s Donut Bites along with coffee and copies of the magazine.
