Feds Seize Sites Streaming Pirated Sporting Events

Want to stream the Super Bowl on the Web? Your choices are shrinking.

According to Politico, the feds have seized 10 Web addresses of sites that allegedly stream live pirated sporting events.

Among the sites cited by the U. S. Attorney’s Office of the Southern District of New York in an affidavit on Wednesday (Feb. 2) are Channelsurfing.net, ATDHE.net and a Spanish site called Rojadirecta.org.

The government is out to protect major sports leagues, such as the National Football League and the National Basketball League, per Politico.
