FedEx Facebook App Lets Users Send Packages To Friends
Just in time for the holidays, FedEx has released a new app for Facebook that lets users create shipments to send to friends.
To use the Ship to Friends app, a Facebook user must first share their own address, as well as their friend’s address. Like the normal FedEx website, the app lets users create shipments asking for details such as the weight and dimensions of a package. The app lets you create a shipping label which you can fix onto a package before dropping it off at a FedEx shipping location.
AllFacebook has more: “FedEx said Ship to Friends also provides a drop-down menu of Facebook friends and allows users to post messages on their friends’ timelines alerting them that a package has been shipped.” The
