Fashion Director Michael Carl Bounces From Allure To Vanity Fair

As fall/winter fashion week approaches, one major player in the print world is changing teams prior to the New York shows.  Michael Carl, fashion director of Allure, is making the switch to Vanity Fair where he will serve as fashion market director.  Carl’s spot at Allure will be filled by former W market director Treena Lombardo.  Lombardo will begin work at Allure on Feb. 14.

In other fashion magazine news, W’s senior accessories/jewelry editor Talya Cousins is leaving to become director of merchandising for free online shopping forum Open Sky.
