FarmVille players raise $1 million in 20 days for Feeding America

Zynga has announced a new milestone for its holiday charity event in FarmVille, as the game’s players have come together to donate over $1 million for Feeding America. This figure translates to over 9 million meals for those in need, and it was earned in the game’s newest expansion farm, Holiday Lights.

Released specifically for the Feeding America charity event, the Holiday Lights farm sees players growing crops on a farm covered in lights, completing quests and meeting new characters, as has become the custom on new farms.
