Fareed Zakaria to Leave Newsweek: Report
Fareed Zakaria, editor of Newsweek International, Washington Post columnist, TV-show host and all-around franchise player for Newsweek, is leaving the magazine, according to Business Insider.
A source tells BI that Zakaria will leave the magazine at the end of September, and the Newsweek sales team has been alerted to his departure.
Zakaria is the latest, and one of the biggest, in a series of high-profile departures from the magazine during its transition from parent company The Washington Post Co.
