Fandango Acquires Rotten Tomatoes

A meta deal.

There is a Rotten Tomatoes page that has suddenly became very meta. That would be the one collecting reviews for a certain 50%-rated title featuring Kevin Costner.

To the 1985 drama Fandango at the RT end, we can now add a 2016 media dance of the same name. Movie ticketing site Fandango, owned by NBCUniversal, is acquiring movie ratings site Rotten Tomatoes, from another Hollywood studio. Also included in the deal is Flixster. From this afternoon’s release:
