FakeOFF scans up to 365 days of Timeline activity for users’ Facebook friends and uses its algorithm to assign them credibility scores on a scale of one to 10.
The app also runs an image scan to search the Web for the source of images that might be considered suspect.
FakeOFF said in a release detailing its app:
