Fake iPads For Sale At Walmart?

Be careful when buying an iPad from a third party retailer, you may not get what you think you’re playing for. A consumer named Ken Lemal is claiming that he bought a fake iPad from Walmart.

According to the above video report from KPLC 7, a local NBC affiliate, Lemal purchased an iPad from a Walmart store and came home to find that the item was a fake. Walmart won’t return Lemal’s money, so he plans to sue the company.

One explanation for this mishap is that another customer purchased an iPad from the store and returned the fake, keeping the real one.
