A wave of fake emails from Facebook has surfaced recently, under the pretense of alerting users that they have pending notifications, but instead directing users to a Canadian pharmacy website where they can purchase Viagra and Cialis.

Sophos’ Naked Security blog reported on the spam emails, saying that they are very similar to actual Facebook emails, and that the spammers are likely earning cash for every user they drive to the Toronto Drug Store site the links contained in the email currently point to, as well as to other sites those links can potentially redirect users to.
