Facebook's Q1 Ad Revenue Increased 46 Percent to $3.3 Billion

Mobile continues to surge, but overall growth is slowing slightly

Facebook reported $3.54 billion in first-quarter revenues, an increase of 42 percent over the same period last year, and the tech giant's ad revenue was up 46 percent, reaching $3.32 billion.

Mobile accounted for 73 percent of its ad sales, compared to 69 percent during the fourth quarter of 2014.

The growth rate in ad revenue actually represents a bit of a slowdown for the Menlo Park, Calif.-based company, which saw a year-over-year increase of 53 percent during Q4.
