HootSuite introduced some powerful updates to help you do even more in the social media dashboard than you were able to do before.
The platform substantially increased Facebook functionality by adding posting and monitoring for Events and Groups, plus improved Pages and Profiles with photo uploading, geo-tools and search of all public updates within a HootSuite stream.
Here is a quick rundown on the HootSuite updates:
The Wall, Now In-Dash
New Facebook streams allow you to monitor and manage content from Profiles, Pages, and Groups directly in-dashboard, including: photos, videos, news feed, events and more. Plus, you can assign posts to team members for follow-up or monitoring and save comments as a stream.
You can track what people are saying about your brand, industry or campaign. With Facebook search streams in HootSuite, you can save frequent searches as a stream for continuous monitoring so you don’t miss a mention.
Images are an important element in any Facebook update and the platform upgraded the method to add to your posts. Now, rather than linking to the image, your photos are uploaded directly and posted to any of your Facebook presences via an enhanced compose box.
Facebook for Business
This release also includes campaign geo-targeting allowing Enterprise clients to post specific messages by region or language.
