Facebook Street Artist Astonished by Poster Response

Forbes blogger Kashmir Hill has an interesting update today about the fortunes of 2Wenty, the anonymous LA street artist who created a commotion at the beginning of the year with posters equating today’s pandemic use of Facebook to a nicotine addiction.

He works for a media organization, but not in a reporter capacity. He turns 30 this month. And, thanks to the attention his street art has garnered on local blogs like Melrose and Fairfax, he just had his first art show! Per Hill:

2Wenty created three-dimensional versions of his Facebook cigarettes [poster], complete with a surgeon general type warning (“Facebook may cause loss of time, poor work ethic, obesity, social disorder and possible interference of destiny.
