Facebook removing 'Page Post' from naming of ads
Facebook has already simplified the way it offers advertising, now the company is trying to remove some of the redundancy from the naming of ad types.
Sources told Inside Facebook that Facebook informed marketers recently that it is dropping “page post” from the name of its ad products. For instance, page post photo ads will now simply be known as photo ads.
This does not affect the ads in any way. According to sources, the new naming system will roll out in the U.S.
