Facebook Reaches Out to Creatives

Follows Google in launching agency education platform

Facebook has announced the formation of a Creative Council, a 14-member body tasked with providing the company with a forum to discuss ad product ideas and agency concerns. Naturally, the new council is holding its inaugural meeting in France this week during the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.

The Creative Council includes: David Droga, founder and CEO of Droga5; Nick Law, CCO, R/GA; Jeff Benjamin, CCO, JWT; Colleen DeCourcy; founder, CEO, Socialist; Linus Karlsson, CCO, global brands, McCann Erickson; Michael Lazerow, co-founder, CEO, Buddy Media; Rob Feakins, CCO, president, Publicis, New York; Mark Tutssel, CCO, Leo Burnett; Rob Reilly, CCO, Crispin Porter + Bogusky; and Tor Myhren, CCO, Grey, New York.
