Facebook Is Pulling Several Little-Used Boost Post Options

The changes will occur Sept. 15

Facebook is streamlining its boost post advertising feature by eliminating several little-used options from the mix.

The social network said in a blog post announcing the move, “Historically, businesses have been able to boost any page post type on Facebook, including notes, life events, shared Friendsversaries and even relationship status updates. However, advertisers rarely promoted these post types, and when they did, results were not as strong as results with our more popular ad formats.”

Facebook said the following boost post options will be removed Sept.
