Facebook overhauls interface, adds high-res photos in Windows Phone update

While the native Facebook applications for iOS and Android have undergone several improvements, not much has happened to Facebook’s Windows Phone app since April. That changed Monday, as Windows announced major upgrades for the phone’s Facebook app, including a more user-friendly interface and high-resolution photos.

Much like Android users, Windows Phone users can also sign up to be part of a beta testing group for new features.

The Windows Phone app also got the Timeline treatment.
