We’re trying to figure out whether this is a test feature or a bug of some sort: Some news feed posts today display the poster’s thumbnail image above the posting text, while other items continue to include the thumbnails in the regular position.
The variations in the thumbnail location tend to show up below the highlighted posts within the news feed.
We plan to update this post with anything we might learn about whether this layout is intention.
