Facebook Mentions Users Can See What’s Said About Their Articles

The celebrities, public figures and journalists using the Facebook Mentions application can now see what users are saying about their articles.

The celebrities, public figures and journalists using the Facebook Mentions application can now see what users are saying about their articles.

Product manager Vadim Lavrusik and head of journalism partnerships Liz Heron said in a Facebook Media blog post that Mentions users can now use the app to see what Facebook users are saying about their articles on the social network, even if the authors’ names are not mentioned.

Lavrusik and Heron said this new feature will give Mentions users “a sense of how people are reacting to your articles,” and they provided instruction on how to launch it:

Implement the author tag on your website to connect your Facebook profile or page to your bylined posts and articles.
