U.S. Labor Secretary Will Announce Jobs Initiative On Facebook
Tomorrow at 10 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time, Facebook will livestream the announcement of a new resource for finding jobs.
With President Barack Obama on a bus tour touting his jobs plan this week, Facebook will join a top Obama administration official tomorrow to discuss how a new partnership can help Americans get back to work.
U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis will host a press conference announcing a new resource that is designed to help Americans find jobs. She will be joined by:
- Marne Levine, vice president of global public policy at Facebook;
- Marilyn Mackes, executive director of the National Association of Colleges and Employers;
- Bonnie Elsey, president of the National Association of State Workforce Agencies, and
- Bill Warren, executive director of the Direct Employers Association.
