Facebook Asks Page Admins To Promote Most Engaging Posts

Facebook has been trying new ways to get page admins to pay to promote posts. Most recently, Facebook tweaked the wording on the "promote," button on the admin page. Now, Facebook is placing a module on select News Feeds, asking the page admin to promote a recent post that gained a lot of engagement. AllFacebook reader Matteo Gamba of Wimdu noticed that he was asked to advertise one of his page's posts.

Gamba noticed this prompt in the top-right corner of his News Feed.
