Facebook App Users by Mobile Platform: iPhone #1. Android #2. Where Do the Rest Rank?
Benedict Evans took the known monthly user figures for Facebook’s iPhone and BlackBerry apps and some extrapolated figures for other mobile platforms to provide an interesting look at how many people are using each of the apps.
I took the current iPhone and BlackBerry counts and Evans’ extrapolated figure to produce the bar chart here.
The large installed bases for iPhone and Android carry the two to a #1 and #2 finish with 86M and 76M active app users, respectively.
