Vistaprint Buys Parent Of Facebook Vendor Pagemodo
Facebook page-creation vendor Pagemodo has a new owner, as its parent company, Webs Inc., was acquired by Dutch marketing products and services company Vistaprint.
Facebook page-creation vendor Pagemodo has a new owner, as its parent company, Webs Inc., was acquired by Dutch marketing products and services company Vistaprint.
Vistaprint, based in Venlo, Netherlands, will pay $117.5 million for Silver Spring, Md.-based Webs Inc., in cash and restricted shares.
The two companies said management and employees from Webs Inc. will join the Vistaprint team and will continue operations under the Webs Inc. brands.
Aside from bringing Pagemodo’s Facebook page-creation efforts to the table, Webs Inc.
