Examiner Says Farewell to Digital Managing Editor
Tim Richardson, the digital managing editor for the Washington Examiner is saying farewell after only 8 months. He is moving to WaPo to be their Senior Digital Editor/Producer and will help manage their online team.
The announcement from Examiner’s executive editor Stephen G. Smith says, “While here, Tim worked wonders with a website that — let’s face it — was trying to find its way. He put it on a sound course, worked tirelessly to keep it smart and fresh, made digital converts of editors and reporters who were mainly oriented to print, and taught us a great deal about the future.
