Ex-Gourmet Publisher Lands at Marie Claire

Nancy Berger Cardone, who was vp, publisher of Gourmet until Condé Nast shut it down, has resurfaced at rival publisher Hearst Magazines as vp, publisher of Marie Claire.

Cardone succeeds Susan Plagemann, who jumped last month to Cardone’s old company to be vp, publisher of Vogue.

At Marie Claire, Cardone will return to her fashion/beauty publishing roots; prior to Gourmet, she spent eight years as vp, publisher of Condé Nast’s beauty magazine Allure.
