Evernote Android Update Adds Document Digitizing

The popular note-taking app Evernote has updated its Android app to Version 5, adding a few new features including a tool that lets users digitize physical notes.

The update, which hit the iOS version of the app earlier this month, includes a feature called page camera mode. This mode accesses the camera or tablet’s camera to let users take photos of physical documents and pages and digitize them as notes within the app. The feature works with Evernote Smart Notebook by Moleskine, a notebook with paper formatted to work with the app.
