Facebook quietly tweaked its event-creation process again, adding the option of making events visible to friends, which joined the pre-existing options of public or invite-only.
The social network also moved the options for who can see the event to the first popup window. They previously did not show up until the second popup window in the process.
Two months ago to this day, Facebook streamlined the event-creation process, requiring fewer clicks to create events. The social network also began allowing only users who respond that they are attending events to comment on the events’ walls, and for those who respond that they are not attending, only the event creator can see their reasons, should they provide them.
