Ethan Bronner is leaving The New York Times to join Bloomberg News as its managing editor for international government. Bronner had been with the Times since 1997. He most recently served as deputy national editor.
Bronner is taking on a new role at Bloomberg News, one that will have him working with reporters “around the world on the big international stories of the day and on investigative and analytical enterprise,” according to an announcement by editor-in-chief Matt Winkler.
Prior to joining the Times, Bronner worked for The Boston Globe.
