'Essence' Celebrates Girlfriends Appreciation Day
Every day is a special day it seems. Today, Essence celebrated Girlfriends Appreciation Day with an online campaign that tied back to its May girlfriends issue. All the special commemorative days can get a little tiresome, but we liked the feel-good on this one so much, we wanted to give it a shout out.
Readers were invited to go to the Essence Facebook and Twitter pages to upload a picture of themselves with their best friends.
