Employers Favour Facebook, LinkedIn Over Twitter For Sourcing Job Candidates [INFOGRAPHIC]

Did you know that 37 percent of employers are now using social networking sites to research job candidates?

Furthermore, while another 11 percent aren’t using social media to identify potential employees right now, they plan to do so in the future.

Facebook is the employers’ candidate-finding network of choice, with 65 percent frequenting this platform, which ranks marginally ahead of LinkedIn (63 percent), but over four times that of Twitter (16 percent).

Perhaps unsurprisingly, the industry that most favours social media for recruitment is IT, with professionals in health care using it the least.
