Editor-in-Chief Diane Salvatore Out at Prevention

After a two-year run, editor-in-chief Diane Salvatore is gone from Prevention magazine. An anonymous tipster has informed FishbowlNY that Salvatore has been fired from the Rodale-owned company. No other information is available.

Before arriving at Prevention, Salvatore was editor-in-chief at Ladies’ Home Journal. She also held down the title of director of editorial operations at the Hearst Magazine Division.

Early in her career, Salvatore had the good fortune of learning under the legendary Helen Gurley Brown, as a articles/books assistant at Cosmopolitian in the 1980s.
