Ebony Adds Aliya King
Ebony has named Aliya King its new entertainment editor. King was formerly a senior content producer for Vibe and vibe.com.
King has previously worked for publications such as The Source, Upscale and Giant. Her work has appeared in Nylon, King, Ms, Us Weekly, Teen People, Seventeen, Latina, Essence and more.
“I have followed Aliya’s work for years, and I think she’s an amazing writer,” said Ebony‘s editor-in-chief, Mitzi Miller, in a statement. “I am excited to have the opportunity to work with her at Ebony as we continue to grow the brand and legacy of this iconic magazine.”
King’s appointment is effective immediately.
