Drunk with Power, Anna Wintour Axes Christmas Tree
Anna Wintour has had one hell of a year. In March, she was named creative director of Condé Nast. Shortly afterward, she began reshaping Condé magazines by cutting editors left and right. It seemed like no one was safe because no one was. Now, via an Instagram from Wintour’s daughter — Bree Shaffer — we know that Christmas decorations weren’t spared Wintour’s wrath either.
Shaffer posted a photo (below) of some bags and wrapped presents in a corner, with “My mom threw out our tree before Christmas Day because ‘it was too messy,'” as the caption.
Damn.
