Dolan Co. Acquires Federal News Service

The Dolan Company, which provides services and business information to law, finance and real estate professionals, has purchased the 25-year-old Federal News Service.

Federal News Service transcribes everything from congressional hearings and speeches to presidential public appearances, the press conferences of administration officials and more.

Company President James Dolan acquired Federal News Service from the trustee of the bankruptcy estate of Cheryl Reagan. U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Richard Taylor in Hot Springs, Ark. recently approved the transaction. The deal closed Aug.
