First, radio brought us the disc jockey, or DJ. Then, MTV took things one step further with the video jockey, or VJ. Now, the cable network is at it again, naming Gabi Gregg as its first Twitter jockey, or TJ.
Gregg was the winner of “Follow Me: The Search for the first MTV TJ,” a contest from MTV and ZYNC from American Express, winning a nationwide vote that wrapped up the three-month competition between 20 candidates.
