If you search PerezHilton.com for “Dina Sartore-Bodo,” nothing comes up. The lack of any real telltale on the site for Sartore-Bodo, despite the fact that she just spent five years there as a staff writer, managing editor and executive editor, is a reminder of how people like Mario Lavandeira must craftily build and maintain their name brand.
Sartore-Bodo, a graduate of Emerson College, has this week made the jump to a new professional NYC home. She is now the managing editor of PMC’s HollywoodLife. From the announcement:
“Dina is an exciting addition to our team,” said HollywoodLife editor-in-chief Bonnie Fuller. “She comes to us with a sharp eye for the celebrity, pop culture and style news that matters most to our readers, as well as an understanding of digital traffic growth and scale.”
Sartore-Bodo replaces Carolyn Davis, who left the company to work on a novel. The Class of 2008 member, with a B.A. in TV Production, got the career ball rolling by interning at TV Guide Channel and reading scripts for the literary department of Abbot Management (now Abbot Entertainment).
