'Diddy,' 'Magic' to Launch New Comcast Channels

Sean “Diddy” Combs and Earvin “Magic” Johnson are each starting their own TV channels Comcast announced today. The new stations come as part of the deal Comcast made when it merged with NBCUniversal. Comcast will launch 10 independent stations over the next eight years. Eight of those stations will have African-American or Hispanic owners and operators.

Diddy’s station, Revolt, will launch in 2013 and focus on music and pop culture with a strong social media component.
