Did Today's Producer Know The Axe Was Coming And Jump To Fox?
It sure seems like it. Tom Mazzarelli, a senior producer for the Today Show, was poached last week by Fox for the executive producer slot on its new national morning show slated for January.
“We stole him,” said a source at the network. But given the recent flurry of cuts at NBC, it probably didn’t take much of a heist to get him.
