Despite A Surging User Base, Facebook Remains Fastest

Last quarter, Facebook was the social network with the fastest average response time – a near instantaneous 1.02 seconds. For those of you who don’t know, average response time describes the amount of time it takes for a website to fully load. A fraction of a hair over one second is already pretty damn fast, but Facebook managed to speed things up even more and retain the top spot for the second consecutive quarter.
