Dell Inspiron 11z the un-Netbook Starts at $479-Could Not Configure it With Any of its Touted Options

The Dell Inspiron 11z is NOT a netbook. It looks like a big-ish netbook with its 11-inch LCD display. It has a netbook like weight at 3 pounds. But, it is not a netbook. And, it is not simply because Microsoft licensing has issues with devices with displays larger than 10.1 inches…

More Configuration Options on the Inspiron 11z

Here’s its un-netbook-like features in addition to its $479 starting price:

– Optional dual-core CULV (Consumer Ultra-Low Voltage) Pentium SU4100 processor
– Up to 4GB RAM
– Up to 320GB hard drive capacity

Try as I might, however, I could not select any of these options when I tried to configure an 11z.
