David Hochman profiles another top dog–Jeff Leff, the founder of Chowhound, in the NY Times. Leff, who sold the popular food site to CNet, seems a little lost, now that he’s paid to review for the site. Hochman’s really done his homework, and the piece puts Leff, the Hounds, and all the spin-off sites in perspective. Fun to read, even if you’re not obsessed with finding authentic Latvian cÅ«ku pupas in Hermosa Beach.
