D.C. Blogger Gets Botoxed But Avoids Full-on Heidi Montag
Elizabeth Thorp, a D.C. correspondent for Momlogic.com and public relations rep, is no longer a Botox virgin.
She was convinced to get needled after a series of incidents – many involving being compared to twentysomethings – that mortified and prompted action. “Dude your mom is hot!” she heard one night while out dancing with 24-year-old Mix 107.3 FM’s DJ Tommy McFly.
Thorp explains what Botox does as opposed to fillers like Restylane and Juvaderm. She also talks cost – Botox can run you $400 to $2000 depending on “how many units are used.”
All in all, Thorp writes, having Botox was worth it.
