CQ Roll Call and Crowdpac announced the completion of the inaugural Congressional Power Rankings, insight into members of Congress most influential on topics ranging from abortion and the environment to foreign policy and the economy.
CQ Roll Call editors and reporters ranked lawmakers in each issue section for Crowdpac, an organization that provides Americans with non-partisan information about political candidates and issues.
Political topics are explored based on the five most influential politicians on said topic; the 10 candidates most focused on that issue; official Democratic and Republican positions on it; and recent articles, relevant committees, and resources.
