CPJ Releases List of Most Dangerous Countries For Journalists

The Committee to Protect Journalists just released its annual list of the most dangerous countries for reporters in the world. CPJ has been publishing its list since 2008, and uses the number of unsolved murders of journalists as the basis for its index. Not surprisingly, Iraq leads the way with 92 unsolved murders. Mexico, where drug violence has captured international media scrutiny, has 13 unsolved murders–making it the 8th most dangerous country for journalists in the world.
