CPI Hires Media Relations Specialist in Wake of Pulitzer Controversy
Fresh off their controversial Pulitzer win, the Center for Public Integrity announced today the hiring of a new Media Relations Specialist, William Gray. Gray had been an operations producer at C-SPAN, handling breaking news and live and overnight coverage for each of the three C-SPAN networks. The announcement says Gray will be responsible for “enhancing exposure and outreach for the organization’s landmark journalism.”
CPI has been embroiled in a back and forth with ABC News over whether reporters Brian Ross and Matt Mosk should have been given more credit for a series of articles written about black lung disease in coal miners in West Virginia.
