An Ohio mother was the source of the latest method for parents to use Facebook to discipline their kids, but at least this punishment didn’t involve gunfire.
WKYC-TV, NBC’s Gannett-owned Cleveland affiliate, reported that Denise Abbott of Akron responded to a display of disrespect by her 13-year-old daughter, Ava, by using Facebook to mete out her punishment.
The elder Abbott created a timeline cover image featuring a picture of her daughter with a red X covering her mouth, accompanied by the following text:
I do not know how to keep my (mouth shut).
