Cosmopolitan has launched its first podcast. “Happy Hour,” hosted by social director Elisa Benson, will feature celebrity guests, Cosmo editors and cover everything readers have come to expect from the magazine.
“The fun part about working at Cosmopolitan.com is that everyone is obsessed with pop culture and nobody has much of a censor, so we have passionate debates about celebrities, feminism, body image and the right way to use shade and the wrong way to use Tinder all day long,” said Benson, in a statement. “People are curious about what it’s like to work here so it felt right to invite people to literally listen in and to test out a new way to talk to our audience.”
Happy Hour’s first episode features a discussion of Cosmopolitan.com editor Amy Odell’s new book, Tales from the Back Row: An Outsider’s View from Inside the Fashion Industry. We’re just guessing here, but we imagine the book received rave reviews. Cosmopolitan.com’s senior style editor Charles Manning and Cosmopolitan.com’s senior beauty editor Carly Cardellino also stop by to talk New York Fashion Week.
